• The new DTI microprocessor controlled timing unit provides the diesel engine mechanic or diesel engineer with a simple and easy way to check the timing of any diesel engine except those equipped with unit injectors.
• No tools required. The patented transducer is clamped on a fuel injection line. It senses the pulses in the fuel line and sends a signal to the timing unit which counts the pulses and displays RPM digitally to an accuracy of + or - 1RPM.
• The same pulse signal fires a timing light, with which the mechanic can observe the top dead center or advance markings on the flywheel. Variable offset is adjustable with two push button switches. Degrees off top dead center are displayed digitally on the unit, simultaneously with RPM.
• The unit comes equipped with a single transducer. Others are available at extra cost.
